Because Time is Running Out

Greetings to all.  This has been on my heart for quite some time; to start a second blog.  While “Grace County” will continue to be the primary arena of activity, this one will focus  on end time events.  Things that, perhaps few of us like to think about and yet a casual glance at the world today will reveal that we are living in very strange times.  Troubling times, unless we know Jesus Christ as our Savior and know have his word hidden in our heart.

I look at such things in a different manner than some.  To me, this is a fascinating time to be residing on planet earth.  We are witnessing the fulfilment of scripture and, contrary to causing panic, it should cause us to look to Jesus and draw nigh to him.  As saints of the most high God, washed in the blood of Jesus; we have no reason to be fearful.  On the contrary, we should be lifting up the light of the gospel as time is quickly running out for untold millions. 

This blog will take some time to develop as it has a very primary focus.  I’ll strive to be sincere in all that is stated and link to needful information.  I’ll strive to not obscure the truth as to make it more easily acceptable.  At the same time, I’ll try not to become the next mayor of Crazytown.  When discussing such events, it’s easy to go to one extreme or the other.  (I have a tendancy to lean toward Crazytown at times)  I pray that this forum will generate sound dialog and cause us all to look to Jesus. 

Daniel 11:32  “And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.” 

It seems that I’ve quoted the above passage a thousand times, but it speaks volumes concerning the end times environment that’s manifesting even as we blog.  The middle ground is disappearing quickly.
